Hiking through the volcanic vineyards and inhabited crater of Gran Canaria

Our hiking adventure begins at the highest point of the volcano, where we take in breathtaking views from a panoramic platform. As we descend into the crater, we'll discuss the origins of this unique geological formation, which is the only inhabited volcano on Gran Canaria.

The area's isolation offers a chance to discover rich vegetation, colonies of large lizards, and extensive vineyards. Here, you'll find the island's endemic grape varieties, "Listán Negro" and "Listán Blanco."

While exploring the crater, we also visit two hidden caves and take a break for lunch.

Walking sticks, picnic consisting of water, vegetarian sandwiches, transport, insurance  and english or german speaking professional instructor.

What do you need

We take care of everything! Therefore, the only thing a person needs to carry out this activity is: sports shoes or hiking boots, sun cream, comfortable clothing and a coat, windproof jacket or raincoat would not be superfluous. 

Requirements for this activity

The only requirements you have to meet are: to be in good physical shape, (depending on the chosen route) not to be afraid of heights or vertigo, regardless of your age, as they can even do it children (from 12 years old and always accompanied by his parents) and above all to have a good attitude, desire to know the island and a tremendous smile on the face :)
